Overview

ACG Global will host its inaugural Strategic Acquirer Summit on Nov. 4-5 in Dallas to bring together corporate development professionals for a program focused on strategic acquisitions. The Summit will include panel discussions, expert speakers and networking opportunities, providing attendees resources and best practices for executing M&A transactions.

Registration for the Summit is limited to corporate professionals involved in strategic growth initiatives within their companies, including CEOs, CFOs, chief strategy officers and others involved in M&A on behalf of corporations.

The Summit’s speakers will address their companies’ corporate development strategies,  challenges they’ve faced, and broader trends within strategic M&A. The Summit will also feature opportunities for peer-to-peer networking to help attendees expand their networks within the corporate development community and exchange best practices.

Summit attendees are subject to approval by ACG. Qualified participants are limited to individuals whose primary job responsibilities relate to the acquisition and divestiture activities of the company, including strategy, deal origination, valuation, negotiation and post-acquisition integration.

Brent joined Nolan in 2019, bringing over 25 years of sell side and buy side advisory experience from his relationships and transactions with privately-owned and family businesses, Fortune 10 corporations and leading private equity groups. To this point in his M&A career, Brent has closed over 200 transactions with an aggregate value of over $1 billion.

Brent is on the Executive Committee and is the Chair of Finance for the Global Board of Directors of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). ACG has 14,500 members and is the world’s leading organization serving middle-market M&A deal-makers and business leaders focused on driving growth. He is also spearheading ACG’s efforts to further build the organization’s outreach to corporate development professionals. Brent also serves on the board of the St. Louis ACG chapter.

 

Aaron Polack

Aaron joined Lion Equity as an Associate in 2008. Currently, Aaron manages the business development activities of the company including deal sourcing and evaluation, marketing, and add-on acquisition efforts for portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Lion Equity, Aaron was an Investment Banking Analyst for JPMorgan. At JPMorgan, he was responsible for financial valuation and analysis, due diligence, and evaluating M&A opportunities for mid-corporate companies in the Rocky Mountain region.

Aaron started his career in the Asset Management Group at PNC Bank. At PNC, Aaron was actively involved in all aspects of Asset Management and Capital Markets trading activity for the bank.
