Richard Jaffe is the recipient of the 2019 Peter Hilton Award

Richard P. Jaffe is a partner at Duane Morris and practices in the area of private equity law with a focus on control and non-control investments, fund formation and operation, divestitures, corporate finance and venture capital financing, particularly in the alternative energy, technology and manufacturing industries. Mr.Jaffe regularly represents private equity funds and other investors and strategics in corporate transactions and advises business owners and PE portfolio companies on raising capital to grow and exit their companies, as well as structuring public and private securities offerings, mergers, acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Jaffe also counsels boards and committees of boards on corporate governance issues, and is a frequent lecturer on these issues.

Don Ritucci is the recipient of the 2019 Chapter Leadership Award

Don Ritucci is a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Jefferies LLC and is based in New York.  He has over 20 years of bulge bracket and middle market investment banking experience, including new business origination, client coverage and transaction execution and oversight. He has completed over 50 healthcare advisory and financing transactions, with an aggregate deal value in excess of $50 billion.  Prior to joining Jefferies, Mr. Ritucci was a Managing Director at Imperial Capital LLC, a full service, middle market investment bank, where he led the firm’s Healthcare and Financial Sponsors groups.  Prior to Imperial Capital, Mr. Ritucci was a Managing Director at UBS Securities LLC,  spending 13 years in both the Global Healthcare Group and the Global M&A Group. He also spent six years in public accounting at Price Waterhouse LLP.

Mr. Ritucci has an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a B.S. from Boston College.

Claudine Cohen is the recipient of the 2019 Women of Leadership Award

Claudine Cohen is a principal in CohnReznick’s Advisory Group’s national Transactional Advisory Practice (TAS). She leads the Northeast TAS practice   With more than 25 years of business experience, Claudine has developed an expertise in providing transactional advisory services, serving as an adviser to public and private companies, both domestically and internationally.  She works with private equity investors, family offices alternative investment funds, lenders, family offices and strategic investors.

Claudine’s specific advisory activities include: strategic advisory, quality of earnings analyses, identifying revenue sources and profitability drivers, examining operating cost structure and sustainability factors, investigating business models including cash flow and financial projections, reviewing quality and realization of assets and liabilities, identifying working capital requirements and negotiating positions, post-close working capital verification, and adjustment mechanisms.  Claudine has advised on a number of different buy - and sell-side transactions, including standalone platforms; carve-out of business segments, product line, or facility; bankruptcy auction processes; mergers; and industry consolidations.

Claudine was named to Mergers and Acquisitions 2019 list of the most influential women in mid-market M&A, and Crains NY 2018 most notable women in consulting. She has authored several articles and Thought Leadership, The Deal and other publications focusing on buy and sell-side due diligence, working capital and purchase price allocation.

Don Levy is the recipient of the 2019 Forward Leadership Award

Don Levy is a Director in the New York office of Duff & Phelps, and a member of the Transaction Advisory Service line.  Don has approximately 16 years of professional experience, encompassing M&A transaction advisory services, restructuring and turnaround consulting, real estate acquisitions analysis, and public accounting.

Don is a CPA and specialties include analysis of company financial statements and operations, as well as providing strategic advisory services to clients on acquisitions and sales. Don has extensive experience in working closely with company management teams in devising and structuring strategic plans.

Don’s experience in M&A advisory services includes providing strategic and financial buyers with detailed financial and operational analyses. He has worked with potential buyers and investors in various industries, including technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and consumer products, among others.

Don was previously a Manager in BDO Consulting’s restructuring group, where he focused on both restructuring and M&A transaction advisory services. Don has experience advising clients in areas of M&A due diligence, bankruptcy and insolvency, and restructuring and turnaround matters. Prior to joining BDO Consulting, Don was an associate with Zolfo Cooper focused on out-of-court restructuring and turnaround assignments. He has also held positions in real estate acquisitions analysis and treasury. Don began his career in public accounting servicing large REITs and private real estate funds.

Don received a BS in accounting from SUNY Binghamton and is a member of the AICPA and Association for Corporate Growth (Former Board Member and Founder of ACG Forward (Young Professionals)).

Frank Marcucci, Jr. is the recipient of the 2019 Volunteer Leadership Award

Frank serves as the National Director, Business Development of Corporate Valuation Advisors, Inc., (“CVA”). Mr. Marcucci is responsible for client development efforts in securing new markets within the Northeast Corridor, the Midwest, Canada, Europe and Asia. The majority of Frank’s new and existing clientele are Fortune 500, public and private company clients, closely held enterprises, private equity, investment banking, trust & estate planners, law and accounting firms and their advisors. Frank has a 25+year track record of managing the maintenance and growth of key client relationships, as well as the development and implementation of appropriate strategies and goals critical to the firm’s long term success.

Prior to joining Corporate Valuation Advisors, Mr. Marcucci was a National Director for EAC Valuations, LLC. His background also includes senior positions at Management Planning, Inc., and Enterprise Appraisal Company.

Mr. Marcucci attended Villanova University, Montgomery County Community College, Admiral Farragut Academy, and is continuing education through valuation seminars and conferences. He has professional society memberships with The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) – New York & Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Estate Planning Council (PEPC), Chief Financial Officer Network (CFO), The Estate Planning Council of Delaware (EPCD) and the Wilmington Tax Group (WTG).

Frank’s interests include rugby, biking, running, tennis, PA Sports (Steelers/Eagles/Philadelphia Union), spending time with family and friends. He also holds the positions of: Chairman – Devon Horse Show, Committee Member – Radnor Races, Radnor Hunt, Associate Member – The Orpheus Club of Philadelphia.
