What's a mistake you made early on in your career, and what did you learn from it?
I wish I networked at an earlier age. Since then, I’ve learned to never turn a meeting down and always try to make appropriate connections for folks.

A latex salesman.

What's the biggest misconception people have about your position?
I believe most people think all I do is golf, attend events, and entertain for a living. Come to think of it...that’s not a misconception! Seriously, there is a lot behind the scenes people don’t see. Building relationships, making connections, and earning trust and business takes a skill that isn’t easily defined.
