About The Shoreby Club
Built in 1890 as the summer home of industrialist Samuel Mather, the Shoreby Club is a 25-room mansion designed by noted architect Charles Schweinfurth. Meticulously restored to its original grandeur, it now serves as the social centerpiece of this private, Member-owned Club.
The mansion’s rich legacy includes ties to U.S. Steel’s founding, lavish Prohibition-era parties, and an era of “Canadian deliveries” along the lakefront. Today, it’s the perfect setting for ACG’s most anticipated summer gathering.

- Gentlemen: Tailored slacks or Bermuda-length shorts, collared shirts, and dress shoes.
- Ladies: Summer business casual—lightweight slacks and blouses, or summer dresses with dress shoes or sandals.
