David Cunningham

Before co-founding VisioCap, David was a partner at Pegasus Capital Advisors, a middle market private equity firm with approximately $2.2 billion in assets. He was also a member of the firm's executive committee and investment committee. Over his 13 years with the firm, David led acquisitions, oversaw growth, and executed investment realizations across all five of Pegasus's funds. His primary focus was investments in the consumer products sector.

David currently serves as a member or observer on the board of directors of BreathableBaby, Bocce's Bakery, Dogs Love Us, Dooli Products, Nature's Logic, Shed Defender, Wet Noses, and Worldwise. In addition, he serves as chairman of the board of First Candle, director on the board of the JPMA, and member on the board of advisors to the Tufts University Athletics Department.

Ludovic Dumas

Ludovic Dumas, CFA

Vice President, Direct Investments

Ludovic is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities, overseeing due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.

Prior to joining Claridge, Ludovic worked in the investment banking department of CIBC where he provided financial and strategic advice to businesses and was involved in a broad range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, corporate sales and divestitures, and financings. He worked on mandates across diverse industries, including software, food, industrials, and services over the course of his tenure at CIBC.       

Ludovic previously worked at Deloitte Consulting where he completed a wide range of management consulting mandates, including strategic planning, market studies, corporate restructuring, commercial due diligence, business intelligence, regional economic development, and benchmarking studies. He started his career in the investment banking department of ING Group in Frankfurt.

He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from HEC Montreal where he graduated with Distinction. He is a CFA charterholder and he also attended WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.

Richard Nespola

Richard Nespola, Jr.

Richard Nespola, Jr.  is the Founding Managing Member of Working Lab Capital ("WLC") - his family holding company, and BFY Capital Partners - a WLC subsidiary and a specialty lender to "better for you" consumer brands.

Richard is a seasoned and multi-faceted executive with over two decades of experience across various industries: technology consulting services, mortgage finance, retail supply chain management and general business advisory. He has successfully led financial product development, pricing, analytics, credit, strategy, revenue optimization and global sales functions across multiple industries, managing business unit P&Ls of $125M+. 

Richard is a Partner in QuimbyVentures, LLC, his single family office where he co-leads investment decisions and portfolio strategy. Mr. Nespola is also Vice Chairman of InSITEFellows, a 501(c)3 non-profit that pairs graduate students in business, law and engineering from Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Columbia, NYU, Georgetown, Berkeley, U Penn, U Chicago and Wash U in St. Louis with entrepreneurs and Venture Capital firms -conducting special pro-bono projects to accelerate growth and add value to the entrepreneurial community. Richard is also Chairman of Earth Echo International, an environmentally focused non-profit honoring the legacy of Jacques Cousteau. Richard is also a Trustee of the NespolaFamily Foundation where he oversees grant allocations and foundation commitments to charitable organizations. 

Richard graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Psychology and received his MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and General Management. 

Rich resides in Washington, DC with his wife and three children.

Rahama Wright is the Founder and CEO of Shea Yeleen a social impact company she created after serving in the Peace Corps. The DC-based enterprise develops shea butter creams, balms, and soaps that create living wage jobs for women in Ghana. Working directly with women-owned cooperatives, Shea Yeleen invests in capacity building, provides access to capital, and establishes processing centers to create value added shea butter. The products have been featured in a variety of media outlets including O, The Oprah MagazineThe Washington PostBloomberg, Washington Business Journal, MSNBC, and CNBC Africa

A leading voice on African women’s economic and business development she has completed 150+ speeches and panels globally including the United Nations Thematic Debate on Entrepreneurship for Development, the U.S. Secretary of State Global Diaspora Forum, the World Bank Africa Region Growth Dialogue, and the Global Entrepreneurship Summit. In 2014, she was appointed to the Presidential Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa and is currently serving her third term on the council. Rahama received her BA in Political Service and International Relations from the State University of New York at Geneseo. An avid traveler she has visited and worked in 36 countries.
